Why Can't Normal Bothell Residents Ever Be Featured in National News?

Apparently, a Bothell man named Sherwin Shayegan has traveled to different high schools dressed as a basketball fan and ends up on the bench with the team, giving them massages, even getting piggyback rides.. They have named him the “Piggyback Bandit”. National news link below.
