SAS Concert in Bothell Washington
Join us for a night of rock and roll on Thursday, May 25th at 6:30 PM in Haynes Hall at McMenamins Anderson School in Bothell. SAS students will perform original works as well as covers of rock and roll favorites. The concert will run from 6:30-8:15 PM. Arrive early and enjoy a limited menu of food offerings in the venue or tour the McMenamins campus.
The SAS Music Program is a club at the Secondary Academy for Success, Northshore School District’s alternative high school. The program allows students to practice, write and perform music as an incentive to demonstrating regular attendance and academic progress. The program is led by professional musician and producer Robin Moxey, an unbelievable talent with incredible musical skill and experience, as well as patience and a heart for our students.
This program is entirely funded by grants, events and private donations.
This event is a fundraiser where we hope to raise funds necessary to run the program for a year – $10,000.
The SAS Music Program has had the opportunity to record music at the Art Institute of Seattle and performed previously at the Highway 99 Blues Club.
