Pop Keeney Connector… ever hear of it?
I went to a City Council meeting the other night, just to check it out. Wow is there a LOT going on in Bothell. Everything from Bothell Salmon Stream activity, to asbestos covered water pipes, to the Pop Keeney Connector.
What is the Pop Keeney Connector you ask? In a nutshell, it is the new entrance to the South East corner of Stadium. It is basically a funnel that people will be walking through that brings everyone up to the Stadium. There are some very good aspects and some very bad aspects(lack of heavy transit support) of the project. Here are some preliminary drawings of the effort. More information to come.
