Carolina Smoke Turns Two!

It is hard to believe that Carolina Smoke BBQ has been in business at the Country Village for over 2 years. April 9th and 10th Carolina Smoke BBQ will be celebrating their two year anniversary with live music as well as food and drink specials. We can remember when that little shop was a wine store and then was vacant for months. The owner David Hayward has always wanted to have his own retail BBQ. He has been catering for weddings, company parties and other events for years and the number one thing people asked him if he had a retail bbq location.

Well, two years ago he he decided to do it and he has not looked back. David and his team have been wildly successful in Bothell for a number of reasons. First, every one of his employees are taught to focus on the quality of the food. If the cornbread is dry, make some more, if the pulled pork is getting a bit dry, go pull a new pan of pork. The second reason is the community of Bothell. Choosing Bothell for the location of his shop was no accident. David has always seen Bothell as a tight community with a strong family core. That is why Dave always focuses on families when making new specials and new dishes.
